Breaky Bowl

What’s great about a breaky bowl is it’s basically a selection of your favourite things you like to eat, all together in one big bowl of goodness. This recipe is a favourite, combining fermented foods, healthy fats, protein, iron-rich kale and nuts and seeds. It’ll keep you feeling satisfied well into lunch time!

Ingredients

PANTRY ITEMS

1-2 tbsp pepitas

1-2 tbsp sunflower seeds

1-2 tbsp hemp seeds

A handful of kale

An organic, free range egg (or substitute with tofu if you're vegan)

½ a lemon

½ avocado, sliced

Sauerkraut/s (store bought or home made if you make your own)

2 tsp Chicken Bone Broth Turmeric 

Vego option: Vegetable Broth Low Fodmap Veggie


1. Toast the nuts and seeds in a little olive oil with a pink of salt.

2. Remove the kale leaves from the stem, and wilt in a pan on a medium heat. Add in broth and squeeze over lemon juice. Set aside.

3. Cook the egg or tofu to your liking.

4. Arrange all ingredients in a bowl. Eat. Enjoy your day.
