CERTIFIED ORGANIC BARLEY GRASS
Made from young nutrient dense shoots of barley. Barley grass is exceptionally alkalising. It also contains every vitamin except vitamin D, most minerals (especially calcium) and all essential and non-essential amino acids. Green barley grass also contains a number of living enzymes and flavonoids.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC SPIRULINA
Another green super food that has a unique protein membrane that is easily absorbed in the stomach. It is a complete food containing trace elements of vitamins and minerals, chlorophyll, enzymes, essential amino acids, essential fatty acids and is rich in anti-oxidants.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC ALFALFA
Known as a nutrient rich food with nutrients such as calcium, folic acid, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, sodium, zinc.
PSYLLIUM HUSK
A natural, soluble fibre with excellent mucilage properties. It provides the benefits of fibre for normal intestinal function and is especially suitable for individuals who have a low dietary intake of fibre-rich foods.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC CHLORELLA
Are single celled blue green algae, similar to Spirulina. Chlorella is high in chlorophyll, protein and beta-carotene.
KELP
A sea vegetable and is known for its iodine. Kelp also is a wonderfully nutritious food with over 70 vitamins, minerals and trace elements in it.

Q: Nutra Organics Organic Barley Spirulina Blend has a higher dose of sodium than I have seen in some other products of this nature. Why?(27th January, 2011)
A: Nutra Organics Barley Spirulina Blend is not just Barley and Spirulina. To this power packed product we have also added Kelp, which is very high in dietary minerals and considered a ‘healing herb’ as it contains sodium alginate. Sodium alginate is the sodium salt of the compound alginic acid and is a natural product that is extracted from the cell walls of brown algae. So, our Barley Spirulina Superfood has a higher sodium content due to this naturally occurring, highly beneficial sodium in kelp.
To put this in perspective our sodium content per serve of this product (2 tsp) is 44mg where as in 1 average slice of bread there is nearly 200mg!
